You do have to wonder about things like this. This is not the only chair of that type in the building. We saw several in the image titled "The Boardroom". Perhaps they were left over from the staff canteen. Perhaps they were scrounged and brought to the building by itinerants who use it for shelter.

But why this one, here? In the middle of the floor, surrounded by nothing, someone decided to just stick the chair there. I cannot imagine why.
