Quite a few of my weekend PADs from 2010/2011 were taken out here, particularly around the shores of Lake Belvedere. The park is on the way to Rhodes, where I used to go for Sunday morning breakfast before I relocated south.

On this particular morning the light was substandard (mostly overcast) and I didn't get anything particularly good in the way of wider shots. However this recent plantation of trees offered an interesting array of shapes and patterns, and the diffuse overcast light was more than adequate, so that's what I ended up with.

I was on my way out to deliver my photos to the showground for the 2013 Royal Easter Show. Alas, they went unawarded again, though they probably deserved no more since I again made a mad dash to get them printed and only got them done the day before. I ended up going to the same printer as I went to last year since I ran out of time to get them done at the one that I wanted to take them to; again, I'm still behind the curve with most things. He did do a much better job than in the preceding year... and the prints were larger so they should stand out more. Regardless of them not winning anything I'll be most interested to see how they look up on the wall with the other entries when we go to the show.
