Some of the Apostles probably started out this way as well; as headlands protruding from the sheer coastline into the ocean. It's possible that this headland will become one in due course as well, or perhaps it'll just be ground down from the front of its face. (And indeed, from this angle you don't need a huge amount of imagination to see a face there.) It all depends on whether the land "bridge" behind it is softer than the outcrop itself.

For now, though, it affords a lookout to look along the Apostles in both directions. I'll make this image slightly larger so that you have a better chance of seeing the lookout and the people on it.
