Along this part of the coast the coastline is generally made of sheer limestone and clay cliffs. These are gradually being worn away to leave limestone stacks like the Apostles. Those are in turn being eaten away and collapsing, though the process can take a while.
Nonetheless when I come back here and shoot this scene in 150 years' time with my Canon 5D Mk XLVII 3D Quantum State camera, I fully expect it to look a little different to what we're seeing here.
It'll be interesting to see just how different.
