This was the second launch site that we tried, in a place called Darebin to the north east of the Melbourne CBD. We started out opposite the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) in the city, piled into the mini-bus in varying states of consciousness given the hour of the morning, and headed off. The first site looked inauspicious after the release of a test balloon, so we went off to this one. It passed muster, and we began to set off.
