Usually my dedications are to friends and acquaintances, though in this case I confess that I have not the faintest who Anna is. However on Stanwell park beach I came across a large circle of sand walls inside a one-time moat, with the occasional sand castle there to provide defence. Scrawled within the circle was the name Anna.
With the passage of another tide cycle, this archaeological artefact probably no longer exists. But it did once, and who knows, 10 years from now Anna may be searching Google and stumble upon this shot. In that sense, her efforts will live on.
