"Sydney will once again be transformed into a spectacular canvas of light, music and ideas when Vivid Sydney takes over the city after dark from 27 May -13 June 2011."
Not, perhaps, one of the most awe-inspiring entries of the Vivid festival, this light sculpture which has been erected in the Queen Victoria Building still has enough impact to make you stop and mutter "What the..." to no-one in particular.
The light sculpture named "Blossom" is the work of Sydney-based sculptor Warren Langley, who based it on falling flowers. Each of the five sculptures (of which only three are visible here) is suspended from the dome of the QVB.
I'll probably see whether I can get some other shots from Vivid before it's over.
