We went to see a show at the Opera House this evening. Specifically it was musician / comedian Tim Minchin who... eeeeh, I don't hate him, I don't particularly like him either. I wouldn't book to go to one of his shows myself, but was happy enough to go along for the ride.
While I was waiting I noticed the red-tinted dusk sun hitting the white sails in a rather striking fashion.
I was up at ISO 800 because I was shooting hand held in diminishing light (and even then only managed to keep it down to 1/80th of a second, just on the good side of the hand held range), so the capabale-ish-in-a-pinch E-P1 picked up a bit more noise than I would have liked. (It's less obvious when reduced for web display.) Oh to have had the 40D with me... But as with the previous shot, the Olympus did a pretty good job overall registering the light and colour "as seen".
