Feast or famine! I left getting my PAD shot until the evening because I knew that I was going to the Opera House that night and that there may be some decent harbour-dusk shots on offer. However on my way there I noticed these red internally-lit balloons which had been put out for a Doltone House function in the Accenture building, and was struck by how they contrasted against a band of raincloud that was over the sky at that time.
The Olympus didn't do badly though the result was a touch noisier than I'd like even at a relatively low ISO 400.
It did rather better at the Opera House, as the next shots will show.

Edit September 2024: Accenture departed the scene some time after 2017, and Google took up yet more space, just as it acquired the nearby former Fairfax Media and Channel 7 buildings. It's a wonder the poor thing can afford all that property, given that it only makes a pittance in Australia and therefore isn't liable to very much tax at all relative to the revenue that it earns here.
