Yes, believe it or not this work by Vicki Shiels is a sculpture. Sort of. In fact it's chalk and varnish applied to the stairs leading down to the main walking trail, seen here in the morning light. The effect is of a piano keyboard in honour of her mother, who loved to play the piano. As you walk by an audio system plays music.


Addendum: My personal opinion is that Facebook is a sociopathic organisation that steals other peoples' intellectual property (including the images in this gallery) despite being explicitly denied permission to do so.
