It's been a while since I've hit the golf driving range. Being somewhat rusty, I decided to use a very shallow DOF here to emphasise the fact that the ball had about as much idea of where it was going to end up as I did. All it knew is that it would end up somewhere out there, on the grass of the driving range which is just being lit by the first warm rays of the sun.
(And it's fortunate that it was early in the morning too, because the shallow DOF meant that I had to make sure that the focal point was on the right spot. That meant that Live View was of limited use, and being down on your knees, backside in the air looking through the viewfinder of a camera which is at ground level? Not the most dignified position, and best that there weren't too many people around. Thankfully those who were were waaaaay down the other end of the hitting line.)
