No, still not officially back to PADing yet but still keeping my hand in and plan to do at least 2 or 3 this week. The 24-105 lens will still be out of service for a few weeks and now needs a replacement AF motor at a cost of around $550, happy, happy, joy, joy.
In any case it's just waaaay too chilly to be out photographing every day at the moment. I almost froze my fingers off during this morning's session. The original intention was to get some early morning light shots but I didn't get anything that told a story that I wanted to tell. Accordingly when I noticed these relatively barren trees with only a handful of nearly dead leaves clinging to them against the bright, blue morning sky, I thought that this was a far better theme for the day.
After that I headed off to a café for breakfast. And I assure you, I couldn't wait to get my hands around that nice, warm mug of coffee.
