This isn't quite as dramatic as the shot that I chose for my PAD shot today, but I wanted a representation of the subject in this gallery as well. In addition to which, it's the 8,000th shot for my 40D. Man, that's going fast; it's left my old 300D (which is still short of it's 6,00th image) in the dust. What's the theoretical shutter life cycle of a DSLR?

You can't question this guy's dedication to his craft...

Addendum: My personal opinion is that Facebook is a sociopathic organisation that steals other peoples' intellectual property (including the images in this gallery) despite being explicitly denied permission to do so. Facebook going out of business would IMO be a net gain for humanity.
