This gallery shows pictures taken at my new 'homepatch', a small private farm just east of Nayon which is a suburb to Quito. It sits at the bottom of a deep canyon at 2070 m altitude. The surroundings are dominated by Acacia and scrub, so the farm makes a small oasis at the bottom. It is my hope that it will attract some north American migrants. Some of the pictures are of rather poor quality but are included here for completeness or because they show out-of-range species. All pictures have been taken at the farm.
