Three Swan Lake

I wonder if these swans are called Peter, Ilyich, and Tchaikovsky.
They were regal, perfectly synchronised, (swimming not eating) and a trifle pompous.
Above all, they were stunningly beautiful creatures.

Risky business, shooting bright whites 'contre-jour', but the T-Max helped me out.

Rolleiflex, with Kodak T-Max 400. full exif

other sizes: small medium original auto

That is funny introduction, Colin!
Another variation on the great theme. This picture could be an inspiration, if original Peter-Ilyich-Tchaikovsky did not create the music before... sometimes nature make timing mistakes :)

Yes, I have experienced the challenges shooting backlit. As usual you know how to handle issues like that. Very balanced contrast. What is it with the T-Max that makes it good for situations like this?
