Exposed in a 4x5 camera directly onto Harman Positive paper,
(plus some front tilt to isolate part of the object only).

Typical contrast, even after flashing.
No photoshop effects.

Toyo-Field 45AII, Schneider-Kreuznach APO-Symmar 1:5,6 ƒ=210mm, Harman Paper

Harman Direct Glossy dbl wt baryta base. Speed 3 ISO. Exposed for 6 seconds at f22. Post exposure flash for 2 secs before development in PQ 1+9.

I know nothing about the characteristics of the paper. If I judged based on the usual papers I'd say there is no detail in the shadows but knowing your expertise I'd say it is the limitation of the paper.
