11051912: No batteries. :-) The two cameras with light meters are built with selenium cells like most of that era (pre-CDS) - a photoconductive cell of two electrodes with an insulated selenium strip between. For your Miranda Sensorex, you can use Wein or Excell 'air cells' (or you can buy an adapter (outer shell) to make smaller batteries fit into the PX625 sized holder. Plenty of options. Good luck.

May I ask what battery do you use since the mercury batteries are no longer available?
I have read about several ideas and replacement batteries and even about an converter for a current battery.
I wonder what do you do? I am asking so that I may use my Miranda Sensorex 2 again.
Thank you,
Scott
