Onion Avocado Pear

South Carolina

Best viewed in Original size

(This image is just the first step in a project to make a digitally prepared,
enlarged 10x8 negative, for use in making a palladium contact print.)

Also, a version with texture.

Toyo-View 45C, Rodenstock Geronar MC 1:6.8 f=210mm, Ilford Delta Pro 100

Tech note: I'm especially happy here with the ability of this film/developer
combo to collect the information in the third layer of the onion. You
should be able to see on your monitor, the 'veins' in the third white layer.

Nice still life Colin. It must have been a bit of a challenge to maintain the tonal range between the lightest tones of the onion and the darkest tones of the avocado. Very nicely done.
