Igor:

The answer is pretty easy ... the various Royal models and Royal 'clones' with other brand names that I have come with three lenses. 1:3.5 ƒ=45mm 1:2.8 ƒ=45mm 1:1.9 ƒ=45mm.

The earliest had 1:3.5. Later there were choices as far as I can see - the Tomioka company making two lenses for Royal - the Tominor 2.8 and the Tominon 1.9. As for quality, I cannot see any real difference in results, but my research suggests Tominor=YashikOR and Tominon=YasikiNON. Other 'brands' of Royal, seeking lowest retail prices, often went with 3,5 and 2,8.

Hope this helps.

Hey, why do I keep seeing f2.8 lenses on these at websites? Mine has an f1.9

I wish it was for the rangefinder. ;-). No, it's not the rangefinder.
As I wrote to Jean-Luc, it is the same null adjustment that I have on the Weston Master and Euro-Master light meters. It actually zeroes (calibrates) the meter-reading needle - if you need to recheck after a jolt/bump, or after some time unused. Thanks for the note.

I think the screw with the 2 arrows is for adjusting the rangefinder at infinty.

The family is growing! What's the screw and "O with the two arrows" in the middle of the topplate for?
