On the slope of Tianshan, we stopped at a complex of yurts of Kazakhs people. One particular yurt, the living quarter but not currently used in real life, contains elaborate and colorful carpets and embroideries. I asked the hostess that showed us around to pose for us inside and outside the yurt, which she gladly did.
