Redfoot tortoise - Geochelone carbonaria -climbing
up to eat mushrooms off old coconut tree stump.
The smaller tortoise - Indotestudo elongata -
is snacking on the mushroom pieces that fall to the ground.
These tortoise species come from tropical
forests of South America (redfoot) and India (elongated.
Both species do well in the humid rainy conditions found in Hawaii.
