Ruby-Red Resurrection

Selaginella erythropus, also called a "resurrection" plant,
is a highly adapted African club moss that shrivels up
when there is no water and "resurrects" when wet.
The backs of the "fronds" turn red during winter.

Wow, I wouldn't have thought this was the very same plant either. Still looks like long skinny lizards to me. LOL Another nice image of this unusual plant.
