Meru National Park is a wild and beautiful place of Kenya .The park is dry but full of live because is irrigated by 13 rivers . It has diverse landscape from woodlands to wide open plains and riverbanks dotted with doum palms.
The place is recovering from 1980's terrible poaching but during our 4 days in the park last September we managge to see lion ,rhino, elephant, cheetah,giraffe , buffalo , gravy zebra,orix,gerenuck or lesser kudu among others and without the crowds of other well know places. Birdwatching was also nice as was the landscape and the people we meet there.
