My new Bushnell range finder reports the distance as
118 yards, or 354ft. My earlier estimate was 400ft.
You can see it all from here; the dry creek, their
siesta area in the shrub oaks, the 200' drop down to
the creek, their den site (and later rendezvous site),
etc.
