SF Torch Run and Protests

On April 9th 2008, the Olympic Torch came to San Francisco for its only scheduled stop on the North American continent. Due to the protests and general unrest in other cities (Paris, London...) the Olympic Committee decided to secretively change the route to keep protesters from disrupting the run. These images are from the stretch of the Embarcadero that the Torch was scheduled to be run through.

Nice collection from the event . I was there also and posted some pictures. I guess the previous two people that commented on yours won't like mine also.

This isn't a report. This is a personal collection of photos taken. Maybe next time the cameraman will keep YOUR interests for his PERSONAL gallery. But I'm guessing probably not.

Apparently the # of Chinese celebrating out numbered the protesters. I do not see it here. This is a typical reporting I see recently that only reports what one wants to say. This is unfortunate and this is very very sad.
