Mandala sand painting - Asia House with Tashi Lhunpo Monastery

Today (April 29th, 2006) was the ritual destruction of a mandala ( http://www.bbc.co.uk/religion/religions/buddhism/features/mandala/ )constructed by monks over 5? days at the NEW Asia House ( http://www.asiahouse.org/ ) over the past week. The monks are visiting the UK and staying at the Tashi Lhunpo Monastery ( http://www.tash-lhunpo.org.uk ).

'twas a very moving ceremony conducted by some wonderfully spirited people.

Glorious images, it was a very profound experience and I'm sure it reminded everyone of the magic treasure of the Tibetan Buddhist culture. It has changed my life and inspired me beyond measure, how could you not love them??!!
