This pic was taken in Alesund - kind of central west coast Norway. I had a hellish ride in the rain from Bergen, after a night in a tent in constant rain next to a hotel (no rooms for 90km radius of bergen that night). It started ok - rain is fine, then the fog set in and I came across a huge road works, as only the norwegians can do. I did have an hour of an 11hr day on the bike on a dry road.

Needless to say, I found a room in Alesund, and ended up staying for 2 nights before setting off for Trondheim at 8am Friday morning.
