Alaska 2013

I spent 12 days in Alaska (29.8.13 - 9.9.13).
The highlight was the photography bear IPT in Katmai National Park and Preserve.
It was a wonderful and unforgettable trip!

It will be noted that I have found using
the Gitzo 2 way tripod head with my tele-photo lenses -impossible(!),
hence most of the pics were taken "Handheld".

I love your photos, Adit. As I progressed through your albums, each photo was my new favorite. To enjoy seeing up close images of the bear(s) and bird dining on the fish they caught was captivating. I thought the portrait of the big Coastal Brown Bear resting on his side to be quite human and humorous! The landscape shots are stunning...the way you captured the light.
