Pac Man Nebula NGC 281
Stellarvue Nighthawk at f/6 piggybacked on STV-guided LX200 at 1,575 mm. Astronomik 13 nm H-alpha filter 13 x 900 seconds, unbinned 1x1. Astronomik Type II IR-blocked RGB filter set, 12 x 300 seconds each, unbinned 1x1. Acquired with Astroart 3.0, aligned in AIP4WIn ver 1, sigma combined in Ray Gralak's pre-beta 11. All master FITS images coregistered in AA3.0, and a separate trichomy assembled with the RGB (used as a stellar BKG) and the H-alpha used as the Luminance for an Ha-RGB image, layered in Corel Photo Paint 8.0 as a 70:30 mix respectively (H-alpha)(RGB). G2V corrected, altitude extinction corrected (Red frames imaged at 55* altitude). Star spikes are weird due to camera rotation between the H-alpha data collected on 12-8-07 and the RGB data collected on
12-10-07.
