very interesting exercise of revealing the unconscious photographic eye. A good training for further photography too : I suspect after rearranging this gallery, you are even more aware of the fugitive geometry that we usually pass by. Doisneau was trying to compose his shots according to letter or number shapes : whenever I'm looking at one of his images, I can help now trying to figure out which letter he was thinking of. V

This is very impressive Adal. A lot of time is needed to explore this fine gallery and the deeper content of the images, what a simple and together complex relation between the images. These are coming from a very creative and rich mind! Bravo Adal!

L'oeuvre picturale et les fonctions de l'apparence de René Passeron, en voilà un livre qui risque d'être très intéressant et qui dit: " La peinture est un phénomène d’atelier avant d’être un phénomène de galerie ou de musée. Il faut l’étudier sous l’angle du peintre au travail. C’est alors que la méthode comparatiste s’impose au psychologue : elle permet de saisir les fonctions de l’esprit qui se sont inscrites dans l’œuvre picturale à travers l’histoire. Peindre, c’est essentiellement donner une apparence nouvelle à une surface. Le travail de la main soulève les problèmes de technique, mais en tant que création, il est conditionné par un art de voir. Ainsi est-on amené à étudier, avec la psychologie du peintre, les limites matérielles de la peinture, sa spécificité, ses diverses “manières”, ses conceptions variées et ses différents genres." Excellent les trois ailes! L'analogie de forme entre les deux premières m'avait frappée, je l'avais moins remarquée pour la bleue, mais c'est très proche. Ce sont des compositions très originales!

Je lisais Wim Wenders qui disait que l'appareil photo enregistre dans deux directions, en avant et en arrière et il fusionne les deux images, ainsi le photographe n'est plus séparé de l'image Vous pouvez faire ainsi votre lecture personnelle de vos choix; intéressante approche philosophique et analytique à faire!

C'est une très très belle idée. J'aime comment ici, on voit la création et la découverte se poursuivre, même un certain temps après la prise des photos. Les regarder à nouveau, les rassembler, leur donne un autre sens.

Three panels, each bearing three images. The images are obviously related, intended to accumulate meaning. You intend us to appreciate your images not only as individual statements, but as three little stories, each with a beginning, middle, and end. I think the three stories are intended to accumulate meaning as well. At least that's the way I see them. In the first, you effectively question the relationship between man and nature. In the second, you extend this theme, by strikingly comparing shapes found in both the works of man and nature, and in the third you make us see the structures we build in a thought provoking manner. When I am finished studying the three stories, I am left with more questions than answers. Your "unconscious" stories are now affecting my own imagination, which is a function of expressive photography. You are playing with shape, form, and color here on one level, and somehow you have discovered that when sequenced, they become metaphorical journeys. I am anxious to see where these journeys will lead you, and us, Adal.

C'est une excellente idée Adal, présenter par formes laisse d'infinies possiblilités : les formes que vous voyez, mais celles aussi que vous créez, que vous imaginez, donc celles qui seront le fruit de votre créativité, dans un reflet qu'elles se renverront entre elles !
