Glad to see this point and shoot gallery from a pBase recognized serious photographer. Voted.
I have 2 point and shoot galleries up right now using even lesser equipment: the Casio EX-Z600--my building inspection work camera. The new one is "Taking DC on light tackle".

I don't have an LX 1 myself, but I've used that camera for some of the architectural model shots in my gallery. Love the feature set and form factor, but man does it have noise! The new LX 2 is supposed to be improved in that department - it will be interesting to see tests of that camera after its release. An avid night-shooter like you, did you ever consider the Fuji F30 Zoom as a compact, bring-always alternative?

I was surprised when I got here and saw you playing with a compact... Could it be true? Adal with its great equipment succumbing to the playfulness of a lesser machine?? But then I saw which "toy" you chose for yourself and all is explained ;)

Great gallery. A compact is essential equipment for all serious photographers. I'm loving my Fuji E900. Will watch this gallery with interest
