In 2001 we sent a large group of use (25+) to Washington D.C. for the 140th Aniversary of the battle of Bull Run. We had a great time at the event and we actually had one of the alrgest turn outs for a 79th NY unit. It was great to see D.C. and all the battlefield sites that the 79th were at, and to meet the guys fro the other 79th Units from across the country.
