A siroki vár - Sirok castle

Sirok történetének szerves részét képezi a 700 éves siroki vár. A vár a település központjától 1 km-re, északra levõ Vár-hegy 294 m magas kopár riolittufa kúpján épült. Romjaiban is megragadó látványt nyúlt az év minden hónapjában

Sirok the 700 year-old castle on a 300 metre high hilltop is merely a heap of stones today, but for the encompassing view over the Mátra Mountains it is worth taking the tour to the castle of Sirok.
