The drop atop the conical filament in IMG_7818 looks eerily like the Vince Lombardi trophy (earned by winners of the Super Bowl in American football). As a long suffering Eagles fan, this may be as close as we get to seeing one.

I had puzzled for a while before deciding what to put underneath the water. And guess what I chose finally? Something heavy, small, waterproof and more importantly, a numerous combination of colour for I to choose from - I chose my DVD and CD after searching for my whole house, sometimes with the case with coins inserted!

I've seen water drops photographed before, but yours are much more vivid because of the colors. Did you place a color magazine under the pan of water? Cudos!

good pic, i wonder how they will turn out to be in black and white. If you will allow it, I'l love to take 2 or 3 pic from this site and digitly turn it to B'n'W. Thats understandable if you oppose to it as alot of photographers are against digitle pic.

I also thought there is some special technique or setup on this. But after some experiments, I find that all I need is a flash and a small pump, and of course a lens that has enough magnification! No funnel or spot light!
