+ September 13, 2022 was the first day of our Trafalgar Ireland trip. We met Sally our travel guide and 46 other tourists. It was a great start. We boarded the bus at 2:45 and saw a lot of Dublin. Sally pointed out and explained many places of interest in great detail and with a wonderful sense of humor and enthusiasm. We stopped briefly at Phoenix Park which is huge and beautiful. It is one of the largest urban parks in the world. We went to evensong at Saint Patrick's Cathedral (Church of Ireland -- Anglican). The church has a choir school which began in the fifteenth century. Bono was once a chorister there as a boy soprano. We had dinner there. It is said to be at the place where Saint Patrick began his ministry.
