Bad news, but a terrify photo. Love the composition and the tonality. Hope it all gets fixed soon. V

Oh, that doesn't look good. Hopefully, they can fix it without you having to pay an arm and a leg!

a great capture of the broken part, sad that it sounds so serious!

Oh dear. I hope it isn't terminal.

Transmissions are out of my league. Hopefully it wasn't too costly of a repair!

I think in german I would call this 'Getriebeschaden', which means a lot of money.

OUCH! That's very technical. Not even sure what it is but it looks necessary. This is a good example of making lemonade from lemons! Great photo!

Crisp and clear focus; excellent lighting on the problem.

It also looks very important to engine function. Great composition with it offset from it's proper place. Sharp focus and the monotone is perfect for this mechanical piece. V.

Were you having a little clutch slip? Pressure plate looks worn.

If I tried to put that together, there would likely be left over parts:)

Wow ~ too technical for me! Hopefully your car is up and running now!
Excellent B&W image Anne! :)

That looks expensive

You've nailed (no pun really intended) the texture of the bare metal with your mono.
