Welcome!
My name is Abdul R. Sharif, I am a photographer in the Louisville, Kentucky area. I've been into photography since high school. Even though I have a new website, I still upload photos here, so keep coming back for more photos. I graduated with a B.S. in Pan African Studies and a Minor in Art from the University of Louisville in 07 and received an M.A. in Photography from The Savannah College of Art and Design in 2011.
I love all forms of photography but I am mostly drawn towards Urban/Social photography & Portraits. My primary subjects of interest are urban architecture/skyline photography and photojournalism, but I am available for and enjoy shooting weddings, models, and conferences.
To the left you will find links to galleries by subject. Hope you enjoy the site!

My "What i'm into" article written by Javacia Harris in Velocity Weekly. I'm not really photogenic, but it was fun posing for this portriat. The photo was taken on 28th & Broadway in front of the Mary Anna Apartments. I took photos of this apartment complex as apart of my vacant properties documentary. Visit Javacia Harris's website here
