Atacama Parks: flying with Flamingos in a Rainbow and landing at the Moon Valley

Natural parks are the main attractions in the Atacama Desert. At the heart of the area, there is an oasis, San Pedro de Atacama. In this folder there are pictures of three hot points around San Pedro (there are some others). The first is the Moon Valley (Valle de la Luna) very close to San Pedro. The arid scenery evocates what we believe that the Moon is: hills, sand, no vegetation and, here, salted land. The second is the Park Laguna Chaxa, inside the Atacama Salar, an area where flamingos stop for food. The third, no so famous but very beaufitul, is the Arcoiris (Rainbow) Park, 50 km west of San Pedro de Atacama. The name, Arcoiris , is related to the color of rocks and hills. Although I don't consider myself as a scenery photographer, it was impossible not taking some pictures.
