Já fotografei o centro da cidade várias vezes. Parece repetição, mas há mudanças: os prédios mudam, a luz muda e nós mesmos mudamos. Assim, sempre que volto a algum lugar, é sempre uma experiência diferente. O domingo de manhã é, para mim, muito apropriado para fotografar, pois não há multidão nas ruas e pode-se andar com tranquilidade, sem importunação. As lojas fechadas criam certa melancolia, o que não me perturba. O céu coberto ajuda a melhor explorar todas as fachadas sem o contraste excessivo das sombras. Num primeiro domingo, percorri, principalmente, as ruas Conselheiro Mafra e Felipe Schmidt, principais ruas pedestres do centro, muito movimentadas nos dias regulares. No domingo subsequente, também nublado, eu abordei o centro pelo lado oposto, passando predominantemente pelas ruas Tiradentes e João Pinto.

I have already pictured Florianópolis downtown several times. It seems like a replication process but it is not. The light, the buildings and personal feelings change, providing a new experience. Sunday morning is a good time to photograph since there are few people and it is possible to walk with tranquility without any disturbance. The closed stores bring some melancholy but it is not a problem to me. The cloudy sky allows a better way to explore the walls without too much contrast. On the first Sunday, I walked on Conselheiro Mafra and Felipe Schmidt streets, the main pedestrian streets of downtown. The following Sunday, also an overcast day, I approached the town center by the opposite side, walking mainly on Tiradentes and João Pinto streets and the area around.
