Visiting Bolivia : La Paz, Copacabana and Desaguadero

In this folder there are some pictures of La Paz, capital of Bolivia, one of the poorest South America countries. It can be felt in the streets, people, simple houses, even though some old monuments are nice. The Inca influence, particularly on people, is clear. Many people have small commerce on the streets and the common transportation is made by small vans without, apparently, any public control. However, we mention that we never had any problem walking in town and the majority of people tend to be nice. From La Paz, we travelled by bus to Copacabana (same name as the famous Rio de Janeiro neighborhood!) at the border with Peru and, by the Titicaca lac, the one with the highest altitude in the world (for large lacs).
