Contrarily to other visited cities, Cusco has an international high standard as a touristic place. Because it is considered as a Unesco Human Patrimony, it certainly has some financial support. Therefore, a visitor fells better when visiting Cusco, compared to other towns we visited and, safe. Its central area is indeed very nice. Good restaurants, hotels, clean streets, information offices can be found in Cusco. From Cusco, we visited the Valle Sagrado (previous folder) and, taking a train, we went to the Machu Picchu ruins, one of the top attractions worldwide. Machu Picchu was found by an American historian archaeologist Hiram Bingham, in 1911. The original name of the city was never found and it was called Machu Picchu.
