Pictures taken by my friend Arnulf Kost, 'le berlinois' (gallery released in 2014).

Arnulf Kost, my 'brother', is a close friend in photography, electrical engineering activities and life. We met in 1995 and our photography common interest made a strong connexion. He is now retired as Full Professor at Cottbus and Berlin T.U. universities but he is still active on research and is the president of an important society on Electrical Engineering Numerical Modeling. I also work in this community and our universities set several scientific agreements. That gave us chance for working and ... doing photography together as well. In spite of living far from each other, we meet at least twice a year on conferences and/or technical visits. Always occasions to discuss photography. Arnulf is a very talented photographer, who likes pictures and equipment-techniques, as me (maybe because, as engineers, we like devices). He has an amazing collection of nice and classical cameras having a solid knowledge on this area. By our relationship I had the chance of meeting a lot of new interesting people, places and new friends and, hopefully, it is reciprocal. I could write much more about him, but for not being very long, I shoud say that I was a lucky guy by having this generous man and his familly as close friends.

In this folder I inserted photos made by Arnulf. He sent me several pictures during these almost 20 years and a made a short selection amount them. As much I had the data available, they were included in the captions.

As usual for several folders, the pictures presented here came, for the majority of them, directly from Arnulf's prints. I used a Olympus OM-D E-M1 for reproducing them; the files, when necessary, were slightly modified by software.
