Assignment: Specular highlights.

Method: Placed a glass basket with decorative flowers on my back porch where the late afternoon sun creates beautiful specular highlights. Used 20mm Kenko tube on the lens.

How wonderful to hear the news that this class opened up your eyes a bit further! It's obvious with the three submissions this week, that your new journey in the world of macro continues to expand at breakneck speed! All three of these images are truly flawless and perfect examples of not only knowing how to expose and compose macro images but also on how NOT so obvious a macro shot is, at least until you take a class, (ha-ha!). Seriously it is obvious with these three images and your other submissions that you are GOOD and onto a new and exciting journey! Heck you have TWO macro lenses and ext tubes and all that WAS missing was a bit of direction! Clearly, you are capable of finding your own way as you journey down this macro road and best of luck with it all-Enjoy the accolades of receiving THREE Perfect Pictures of the Week! Color Bubbles is truly a surprise as is your fish fin, (I could have sworn it was real fish flesh!) and although I have seen a 'doormat' before in prior macro classes, I have not seen one so perfectly arranged in its overall pattern and texture!
