Red-Bearded Bee-Eater (Nyctyornis amictus)
This bird measures an average of 33 cm. It certainly does not look like
your regular bee eater! Frontal “beard” is shaggy hairlike with some
spectacular colours as can be seen. It also has a very distinctive guttural call.
Habitat : Broadleaved evergreen jungle up to 1220m in West Malaysia.
This is an awesome bird for its colours and guttural call. I can never tire of capturing it.
