The real deal, original never restored Scheel Racing Bucket Seats https://pbase.com/9146gt/image/137114982, the 911R https://pbase.com/9146gt/image/137114522 will obviously need to be restored, but the other Scheel may just only need some "TLC" https://pbase.com/9146gt/image/137114166 possibly a corduroy replacement. My goal is to try and preserve as much originality as possible. What would you do, restore them both completly?

Recently, I sold my very nice pair of reproduction Scheel Racing Bucket seats to upgrade my 914-6 GT with yet, two more factory parts. These seats were very, very expensive and not taking into consideration the pending restoration costs. The Scheel driver bucket seat was removed from a 911R werks car during the 70's along with the other slightly smaller Scheel bucket, an earlier model (1968?) seat used for the 'co-pilots'.
