Bench tested by North Hollywood Speedometer on May 20, 2008, a new bezel was installed and the glass cleaned. The gauge retained its original dial-lettering and patina https://pbase.com/9146gt/image/97838160 which I go out of my way to keep in these gauges whenever possible. Remember, they're original only once! In my opinion, once newly silk-screened, the white lettering becomes too stark.
