I have yet to see one of these installed in a 914-6 GT Rally car, but seriously thinking about including a Motometer or VDO Inside/Outside thermometer gauge in the dash of my GT. Race cars typically don't need an outside thermometer, it's added weight that serves little purpose in endurance racing.

For a visual, the following link and photo will show the Lufthansa 914-6 GT with its fuel gauge installed on the left side of the dash, just to the right of the headlight switch https://pbase.com/9146gt/image/28506762. Note that the Lufthansa GT uses a different location for the push/pull twin ignition switches, I'll also have to consider that. The left side of the dasn location would be ideal for a Motometer outside thermometer since the fuel gauge of my 914-6 GT is located on the opposite side of the dashboard, here https://pbase.com/9146gt/image/141452127 near the glove box. If I decide to install a thermometer gauge, I'm not sure yet which one I'll use, the Celcius, or the Fahrenheit.
