These are the VDO factory drawings along side of a newly reproduced 914-6 GT Fuel Gauge. Compare this gauge to the factory original 914-6 GT fuel gauge I have (see previous photo gallery) and you will be hard pressed to find a difference. This GT fuel gauge is now available for Euro 750.00 through Marco Marinello at Elevenparts AG http://www.elevenparts.com/. Please contact Marco directly as I don't sell these parts.

Hello Wayne! Yes, unfortunately the cost of the reproduction for the 914-6 GT Fuel Gauge is over 700 Euros. Fortunately for me, I have an original gauge and won't have to pay that price. I believe that Bernie Buschen, of European Autoworks, is having one of those Fuel Gauges reproduce for about $400 (USD) and he may be able to help you or at least give you some direction. You can contact Bernie at bbuschen@comcast.net.

About my GT project, I'm about one-year away from completion ($40,000).

Is that correct? Approximately one thousand US dollars for the reproduction GT style fuel gauge?
