Caleb can hear the trains that cross on the
railroad tracks about 5 miles from our house.
He knows them instantly and loves to watch
them cross the tracks when we're driving
around town. Last time we were at the zoo
with Caleb's cousin, he rode the train but
was asleep. This time he got to ride awake,
and what a thrill for my little man. We rode
twice. The first time he rode sitting next to
daddy. The second time he rode sitting at the
very edge by himself. He looked a little
nervous but he was so proud to ride it out
alone. It's so cool to see him grow up and
push the envelope of his little world.
