Caleb has trouble saying his "C"s which come out like "T"s.
When he says his name, it sounds like Tater. And living in
a state where such names are not completely uncommon, the
name has stuck. Mainly I call him Tater Tot. It has gotten
to the point that if you call him Caleb he doesn't even respond.
When we pick him up from school, I yell "Caleb" about 2-3 times
before switching to "Tater". He whips his head around and comes
running. His teachers look at me like I should have a lot less
teeth and sport a mullet. What can I say. You can take the boy
out of the country but you can't take the country out of the boy.
